Organized by the Embassy of Armenia in Greece with the support of Michael Cacoyannis Foundation (MCF), and co-organized by
MCF with support from the Greek Directors Guild (GDG) and the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of Armenia.

    o “Ashxarhums” (“In My World”) – Directed by Ruben Gevorgyants (1979, 1989)
    o “Hakob Hovnatanyan” – Directed by Sergei Parajanov (1967)
  • Exhibition
    o Parajanov’s Paintings and Exclusive Sketches from the 1980s for the performance of Hamlet, exhibited outside of
    Armenia for the first time.

  • Presentation of Sergei Parajanov’s “The Color of Pomegranates” (1968)
    o Presented by Ms. Ilze Paegle-Mkrtcjana (translator and co-compiler of the book “Parajanov. Of the world”) and Tomas
    Sideris, Documentary Filmmaker at ERT S.A. Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation.
  • Screening of the Film
    o “The Color of Pomegranates” – Digital Restoration (2004) by the Film Foundation’s (Martin Scorsese Foundation)
    o World Cinema Project, funded by the Material World Foundation.
