“MUSICALLY AND BACKWARDS” CONCERT – MUSICAL THEATER PERFORMANCE FOR CHILDREN

The musical theater extravaganza of the KOPERNIKOS group “MUSIC AND BACKWARDS”, after the continuous sold out performances of last winter, comes back enriched and renewed, to be hosted in the wonderful theater of the Michalis Kakogiannis Foundation, from Sunday November 13th, for only 6 Sundays, on 12:00.
This is a special show, as the spectators are invited to take part and watch two stories unfolding in front of them at the same time – a musical and a theatrical one – that sometimes meet and sometimes separate, in a spectacular way! The versatile performing group consists of musicians, singers and actors, among them the talented Yiannis Drakopoulos (“Our best years”, “Mister Papadopoulos”), Emi Sini (in the role of Hydrangea), the unique and beloved performer Maria Papageorgiou and the wonderful singer Apostolos Psychramis!
SUMMARY PLAY:
“A last-minute misfortune and the new performance of the famous director Yannis Drakopoulos, is left without a leading lady! Confident of her talent, the enthusiastic Hydrangea will take on Pirates, maneuver like Bob the Chameleon, seek out the witch Skupoxylanthi, and pass through 40 waves – like Farfalla the Whale – in search of a role, in this strange troupe. What position will she end up in?”
The idea, the texts and the music are signed by the multi-award-winning Angelos Angelou and Emi Sini, known for their successful shows for children (see “No More Music”, “Two Crazy Ladles”, “Mr. KIH and the Secret Box of Sounds “, “An elf at my door”, “Turn off the light” etc.) while the direction is supervised by the talented Phoivos Symeonidis (see “Side by side”). The performance will include the well-known songs of the KOPERNIKOS group, both from the classic children’s album: “The World Upside Down” and from the albums: “Music is forbidden”, “Speak & Hush” and “Turn off the light”. Humor, action and interaction are not missing from the show, elements that always characterize the work of the KOPERNICOS group.
