Radio Nights – The stage to the youngsters [George Kontrafouris presents Next step Quintet, Michalis Katachanas and Kostis Christodoulou]

A music and radio event aiming the pursuit of new ideas and new sounds as well as the designation of young artists.

Recently many musicians and bands have brought a new Greek Spring to our music reality. Intention of the radio station Sto Kokkino 105,5 and the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation is the promotion of this new music reality.

At the Radio Nights, once a month, beginning from March 19th, at 21:00, the Theatre Hall of the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation is transformed into a radio studio.

At this point the radio station 105, 5 Sto Kokkino undertakes the project and along with George Kontrafouris, the leading Greek jazz pianist, internationally renowned with rich discography offers the stage to the youth and introduces Next step Quintet, Michalis Katachanas and Kostis Christodoulou.

At the following Radio Nights the stage is offered to the youngsters by Foivos Delivorias, Kostis Maravegias, Dimitra Galani and Last Drive.

The
result of these unique collaborations will be recorded on vinyl album,
the release of which will be funded by the turnout of the live
performances.

On the parallel the program will be broadcasted live by the radio station 105,5 Sto Kokkino, in real time, promoting instantly the work of the young artists.
