Meeting and opinion exchange with the President of Michael Cacoyannis Foundation.

On Friday, June 24th 2011, Michael Cacoyannis as well as the Foundations executives welcomed the EU Commissioner for Education, Culture, Multilingualism and Youth, Mrs. Androulla Vassiliou.

Mrs. Vassiliou had a guided tour of the Foundations halls and became informed in details about the up to date actions as well as the upcoming planning. During the meeting with Michael Cacoyannis, once she conveyed warm greetings and wishes from the Director of the Berlin International Film Festival Mr. Dieter Kosslick, she claimed that she feels excited and moved by his own great contribution as well as the Foundations prolific work and addressed a number of specific proposals for collaboration development with European and international cultural and artistic organizations on actions of mutual interest, in the line of her scope.

During her visit, the Commissioner was accompanied by an associate executive as well as her husband, former President of the Republic of Cyprus Mr. Giorgos Vassiliou.
