COLOURS – A musical voyage with flute and harp

Notes charged with colours from the ends of the earth flood in the concert scores of the two leading soloists and as if they address an open invitation to each and everyone of us individually, they invite us to a musical voyage with flute and harp.
One of the most acknowledged young flutists in Greece, Natalia Gerakis and internationally acclaimed harp soloist Angela Madjarova, from Bulgaria, meet each other on the stage on Sunday, April 17th 2011 in order to presents the music performance COLOURS and offer us images, emotions and personal experiences which they bring along thanks to their encounter with cultures of different peoples.
Inspired by great composers like Astor Piazzola, Manos Chadjidakis, Nino Rota, Michio Miyagi, Bela Bartok, Piotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and Ravi Shankar they compose their own melodious, colourful collage that illustrates the aspects of the two soloists lives through their journeys.
