A MONTH FOR… BAD FELLOWSHIPS

The essence of arts and fellowship, a great artistic fellowship threatens to astonish us in 2010 for a whole month at Michael Cacoyannis Foundation.
Awarded directors, producers and actors of seven films from three continents present their latest movies and are willing to talk and commune with actors, cinematographers, painters, choreographers, musicians, photographers and dancers from Greece: All together, as a company, will communicate for their creations and will associate with their audience.
They will be there, where arts cooperate, artists express themselves and companies grow big in order to include: a vertebrate theatrical performance, musical interludes inspired by cinema, exhibitions of visual arts, photography sculptural art influenced by cinema of nowadays as well as of the past.
The outcome? New fellowships, full of potential prospect and troubles for audience and creators.
A meeting of arts and artists can lead only to more creativity, to even more heretical artworks, works of companionship.
Our parents might have always been telling us beware of bad fellows, however we are of that type of persons who still believe that these are the most interesting of all.
Moreover, let us not forget that history is made by fellowships and those fellowships promise to make history in the fields of music, cinema, theatre, dance, photography, painting, sculptural art.
