The Inauguration Ceremony of the Cultural Center, 9th of March 2010

Michael Cacoyanniss dream came true with the effectuation of the Foundations first big aim, the creation of a home for culture in Athens, the city that, as the Founder himself says, became his own city as well. The official inauguration ceremony for the Cultural Center is a landmark in the progress of the Michael Cacoyannis Foundations undertaking. The 9th of March 2010 is identified by the Foundations people, the audience as well as mainly by the Founder himself, as the day that an orbit of vision and planning comes to an end, in order to be followed by a surely bigger orbit of actions. At this moment, in other words, a moment that is conceived as the capstone of dedicated efforts to the Founders vision, as well as at the starting-point of an ambitious and promising planning, equal to the Founders calibre, their Majesties, the Presidents of the Republics of Greece and Cyprus are honoring the Founder by their presence. On the occasion of the inauguration ceremony by his Majesty the President of the Republic of Greece, Mr. Carolos Papoulias and his Majesty, the President of the Republic of Cyprus, the MCF Cultural Center welcomes the audience on Tuesday the 9th of March for those who want to:
