LLAWFALL A musical performance by Maximus Moumouris, inspired by Pink Floyd

Inspired by Atom Heart Mother, which is perhaps Pink Floyd’s most controversial album, Maximus Moumouris, in collaboration with the Underground Youth Orchestra, under the direction of Costas Iliadis, presents a live musical performance from the 29th of June until the 1st of July 2018 at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation.  Through live on-stage music he attempts to capture the path of One through his daily existence, his relationship with his own reflection and his conscience, as well as his interaction with others and his awakening through them.

The raw cynicism of Roger Waters’ lyrics,  the passionate adversity of Edgar Moren, the lonely journey of the potentially suicidal “Steppenwolf”, Hermann Hesse and finally the existential philosophy of Osho, which rejects the idea of ‘Self,  make up the contradiction within itself of a solitary path in life.  This automatic, enigmatic, paradoxical reality merges with the adolescent voices of the choir leading one to look to the past in order to understand the present, to understand why we no longer laugh like children.
