The Comeback

Four actors in one hilarious story. “The Comeback”, the latest comedy by award-winning Vasilis Katsikonouris, is being staged at the Michael Cacoyannis Theatre Hall, directed by Petros Filipides. Mina Adamaki, Alexandra Paleologou, Ioannis Papazisisand Harris Tzortzakis “unfold” this “mnemonic comedy”, which aims to represent the comeback of good comedy into our lives!
A few words about the play…
Akis Glykofrides, a now redundant yet formerly successful journalist, is about to make his comeback in Television with a document which is expected to shock Greece and bring about a political earthquake. The adventure begins when the DVD in question – the one that contains the document – ends up, by chance, in the hands of Olga. Akis tracks Olga down who is certainly willing to return it, however, she can’t remember where she has put it. The show will be going on air in two hours and the DVD is yet to be found. Unbelievably pressured by time, the journalist must force Olga to regain her memory. Because, when you start to forget, a comedy is born!
