Dierchomenoi Project 1 concept. 3 steps. 3 exhibitions.
The group exhibition “Passing” at the Michalis Kakogiannis Foundation from 10th to 24th of May is done under the auspices of UNICEF, the Municipality of Palaion Faliron and the DASTA Bureau of A.S.F.A. It is the third and final step of the conclusional phase of the “Passing” Project, organized by TetARTimorio, inspired by the Panhellenic Day of Refugees, that is the 5th of April.
“Passing” Project had three steps / phases of implementation: creation, processing and exhibition. The concept of the word “Refugee” was given to 5th grade elementary school students, who created the initial works of art, during the second phase they were given to ASFA students and full time artists to further the concept by processing and incorporating the childrens’ s works. Finally, at the third and conclusional phase the art creations are exhibited for all to see.
