"Each to his own" | Stand Up Comedy Show | Ira Katsouda VS Andreas Paspatis

“Each to his own” | Stand Up Comedy Show | Ira Katsouda VS Andreas Paspatis

During the weekends of October, two comedians, with a long history in stand-up comedy, become a couple and tell it how it is at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation. Ira Katsouda and Andreas Paspatis present an avant-garde performance about the eternal battle of the sexes and the little things of day to day life.

To begin with, the audience gets to know each comedian and their stories, separately. Following this, the comedy duo appears on stage to perform together. Ira and Andreas come up against one another, confess to one another and explore the most personal and misunderstood areas of their relationship – of every relationship – and thus the audience become a part of the most hilarious case of couple therapy of the year!

Ira Katsouda has been a professional stand-up comedian since 2006. She has performed at theatres, multi-purpose venues and also small independent stages around Greece. She is a founding member of the stand-up comedy group S.U.T. and in 2012 she wrote and staged the sold out comedy show “THE WEDDING” which ran for 2 years in Thessaloniki. She works as an actress and commercial copywriter. She studied Finance (A.U.TH.) and acting (studio Fleming).

Andreas Paspatis became professionally involved in comedy in 2007, as a member of the S.U.T. group. He has performed in theatres and bars in Greece and England and has collaborated with prominent Greek and foreign comedians. Founder and president of Brunel University’s comedy society, he hosts stand up comedy workshops and organizes open mic nights. He has also taken part in performances at Comedy Central, London. He studied Information Technology (A.U.TH.) and Game Design (Brunel University of London).
