To Megalo Emeis with Stamatis Kraounakis

A narration of “To Megalo Emeis”, by Vaios Dafos, with Stamatis Kraounakis and piano accompaniment.

The story is of an adventure which takes place in the depths of the ocean, a story which will encourage ecological awareness in children whilst sending the message that diversity should be accepted.

The hero of the tale is a little crab called Konstantinos the Snappy.  In order to save his mother, the little crab is trying to discover the secret of Love which has been lost in the depths of the ocean.  During his adventures he meets Orestis Goodlegs, the octopus, and the gentle shark, Zacharias the Whinger. Will Princess Iro, the young siren, manage to help them overcome their struggles?

“To Megalo Emeis” comes to life and reinforces the meaning of truth, of friendship, of love and of the need for us all to become more ecologically aware.
