Michalis Violaris, 48 years of songs

To celebrate my nearly fifty years in music, I was around 23 when, on a trial run, I sang 3 songs at “PARANGA” in Kekropos street.

Tonight my friends and I, along with the support of the “HOUSE OF CYPRUS”, decided to remember those songs of old, which year by year increased in number, bringing us to where we are today.

We shall begin with “ULLA CHALALIN SOY”, which was written by Andreas Grigoriou and me in 1965.

After that we recall “IRTHES EPSES STON YPNO MOU”, and from Giannis Spanos we shall move on to “STELLA”,  and after that we will take Giorgos Krimizakis to Linos Kokotos who will remind us of “TO DELFINOKORITSO”.

We shall stay for a while with Vassilis Koumpis and “HARILAOS”, but immediately afterwards we move onto Mimis Plessas who transports us to the Island of Aphrodite with “AN VOULITHO NA S’ ARNITHO”.

Following this, we shall certainly not forget those songs which marked our journey, which our other colleagues happened to interpret wonderfully on first rendition. Great supporters, by my side during all my musical turmoil, TAKIS CONSTANTAKOPOULOS and ANDRIANA KOLLIA.
