An Accountant that changes habits. A woman who wants to share. The lady who inspires. The actor who encourages. The weak sister. A mother who fights. The poet, and his last residence “the Charleville cemetery” will be the beginning to a new life?
The universality of Arthur Rimbaud’s way of thinking – “freedom cannot exist without strength” – a necessary component. This strength that comes from within is pre-sented in the play, quoting parts of Rimbauds poems while also citing pasts from his literature work and reminding us that poetry does not cut off life from art, but on the contrary it is through poetry that these two cross due to the necessity that they coex-ist.
«Charlville» is a new theatrical social play that is being performed for the first time. It takes place in the French countryside near the end of the 19th century. With Ar-thur Rimbaud as a point of reference, we tell a story that balances between reality and myth, as it can happen in a persons mind as well. A story of love and soul strength.
