The musical project of Irini Hiratou “Half past seven Greek time” is to be presented at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation,

With the kind participation of the 55-member choir of the 5th Galatsi High School.

It concerns fourteen artistic songs. Each song tells a different story, while all of them are interlinked through a simple and everyday narrative, with references to life and love. People who are constantly struggling to find channels of communication, but also the irony of being a dreamer, a teenager or an immigrant, a system of corruption and hypocrisy… Hope, however, lies within man himself, within us ourselves, when we do not stop feeling –

Official Time of Greece seven thirty a.m. …Two people at the Door silent: She knocks on the door and he opens. He thinks he can hear her talk. Their whole life in a few seconds. In a furtive look, there, at the door… ” Nah ? “He loves her still!”

“And at that same time two other people at the Bus stop silent: A Syrian man and a Greek woman. The man dying a painful death while she cries. She thinks she can hear him talk.Their whole life in a few seconds, a furtive look, there, at the bus stop… Half past seven Greek time. Patission Street … How much she had loved him!”

“Something needed to have been said! But I wonder what? “ – The narration gives no answer to this, but for the fourteen songs – Songs that could be classified as “Short Stories of Life”.
