“Cataclysm in Human’s World”
Caravan Puppet Theater
A puppet show by the group “Caravan” who unfolds the red thread of the tale, starring little Abu Agu. On his side, his beloved friends, the ant, the elephant, the dragon, the witch and the fairy, who adopt him, give him the name “Cataclysm” and grow him until the day when he wants to leave the country of fairy tale and meet a new world. The journey to human’s world starts with enthusiasm but quickly he disappointed… He decide to take action with the help of a gypsy woman who supports him and he gives to the king a lesson and to people the opportunity for a new beginning.
Caravan Puppet Theatre started in Summer 2013 from Erato Sioropoulou (theatrologist). Also participates as an assistant Achilleas Tsitsimelis. In this short time, our team with help from many kind friends has managed to give performances in schools, kindergartens, autonomous social projects, give smiles and get much joy, inspiration and strength to continue to learn and travel within puppet theatre. We have also participated in ‘Mime Festival of Kilkis’ 2013.
‘Caravan’ has already presented two performances, “Cataclysm in Human World” (construction and scenario from Erato Sioropoulou, directed by Christos Aftsidis) and “PET” (construction and scenario from Erato Sioropoulou, directed by Stathis Markopoulos).
