“Where is she?” & “The River that unites” by Puppet Theatre “Pseftia me Aftia” (Faulsity with ears)

Where is she?: What happens when a show begins, but an actor, a puppet, is missing? In our puppet performance, Hansel finds out that his sister ran away! The audience is waiting. What will Hansel do? Will he stop the show? Is he going to perform all alone? Or will he be more imaginative than anyone expects?

The River that unites: Two spots of land and a river between them! Two children of different races, relations unbridgeable for many! A ball,the first game of every child, becomes the bridge that brings closer humans, animals and birds. And a ship made of paper reminds us that everyone can “travel” together inside it harmoniously.

GROUP BIOGRAPHY – “Pseftia me Aftia” (Faulsity with ears)
The puppetry troupe: “Pseftia me Aftia” was founded in 2010 by Eleni Dimitroulaki (graphic designer, actor, puppeteer) and Angeliki Fostini (teacher, actor, puppeteer). In September 2010 they attended the “2nd Meeting of New Greek Puppeteers” within the “12th International Puppet & Mime Festival of Kilkis”, where they were awarded with the prize for “Best Puppet Performance for Children” from the International Committee of the festival, for their play “The River that unites.

Through the years of troupe’s operation, they have collaborated with municipalities, communities, museums, day nursery, schools, cultural associations and other institutions of culture in Greece and Cyprus. “Pseftia me Aftia” are members of Unima-Hellas (Greek department of International Puppetry Association).
