The pomegranate castle, the song ship and the pomegranate seeds!!!
An old man, a poet by nature and inventor, is building a boat full of dreams and fairy tales.
He comes about a little dragon, which grants him one castle made out of pomegranate and one made out of pumpkin. The little pumpkin and pomegranate seeds are playing non-stop, doing crazy things and fall in love. Every moment is full of happiness, playful mood and inspiration.
However, there is someone who is jealous of them and is trying to ruin everything with his means. He wants to be their leader and take advantage of them by taking away everything they have managed to build, he is trying to divide and conquer by making them suffer all the time. In the end the truth will be revealed and a promise will be made that they will never allow anyone to cause problems in their beautiful life again!!!
An anti-military play about what people “in charge” do to gain: money and power!!! Meanwhile, virtues as: the strength of union and the serenity of wishes and songs become a emblem of peace and love.
GROUP BIOGRAPHY
Christos Aftsidis, got evolved with puppets and stuck with them. Having participated in many seminars in the field of puppetry,, like: Takis Sarris, Maria Skatharopoulou and in the European College of Greece, he is now making seminars of his own (from 1991) and have given countless performances in all of Greece.
