New Show
accommodates
the activities of Stamatis Kraounakis and his unique music-theatrical
group. At Piraeus 206, with Stamatis Kraounakis and Speira Speira, those
who changed the Athenian music life since their first performances.
After their tour all around Europe and Small Epidaurus with their theatre-music performance “Aristophanes Now”, Stamatis Kraounakis and Speira Speira prepare their brand-new performance at Michael Cacoyannis’ artistic home. The title of the new performance is Stamatis’ beloved song “When I have you by me (otan echo esena)”.
“Let’s become a powerful artistic punch”.
During the first part, contemporary Greece is presented through ten small monologues. From life to stage. A stage full of old and new songs. Next door people, full of despair and faith. “We are not going to give up!” Humor and surrealism staying next to people’s problem. Staying next to the feeling that unites!
During the second part, Stamatis sings his beloved songs and we can sing with him. And then, the firework erupts! The song invites everyone to entertain and feel hope!
