This year’s holidays, once again, the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation keeps on supporting the activities of the Estavromenos Church Parish, here at the Foundation’s neighborhood, in the city of Tavros. The turnover of the various initiatives will support the food supplies being offered daily to 100 unprivileged persons.
The numbers are impersonal, however revealing the reality, which persistently counts 3.100 portions of food per month, clothing offer, pharmaceutical as well as medical coverage and, in just one neighbourhood, which seeks for warm hearts in order to move along. Narration of the fairy-tale

This Christmas, Michael Cacoyannis Foundation’s friends read fairy-tales for the children for a good purpose
The beloved lady of children Karmen Rougeri offers to our little friends the narration of the wonderful fairy-tale “Hensel & Gretel”, on Friday the 20th of December 2013. Two musicians -Eleni Zioga and Stefanos Varelas– follow her to the fairy pathway.
* The symbolic price of the ticket is 3€ and the revenue is going to be deposited for the common meal of the Church of the Crucified Jesus of Tavros.
“One day, the two kids were playing in the house and their clumsy movements broke the milk pitcher. Their mother was terribly upset and Hansel told Gretel to fetch some wild strawberries from the forest, in order to make her feel happy again. And that happened. In the forest, the kids meet dancing flowers, a cuckoo, dwarfs, fairies, angels and an evil witch…
