"Taking pictures of Greek fairy-tales"

“Taking pictures of Greek fairy-tales”

PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBITION

“Taking pictures of Greek fairy-tales”

by the photographers of LYKOS (electronic magazine about Arts & Literature)

based on an idea of Sasa Voulgari (narrator)

Until Sunday the 4th of November 2013

Once upon a time.

…people were creating the images of the fairy-tales in their minds. The shadows were becoming monsters, the leaves of the trees were becoming dancing fairies, the animals were talking with human beings by using only their eyes and the lips of the girls were painting the seashores red.

The Fairy-tale in the City

Have you ever wondered if people are still able to see the images of fairy-tales?

Michael Cacoyannis Foundation and the electronic magazine about Arts and Literature “Lykos” are cooperating for a photograph exhibition that is based on Sasa Voulgari’s idea.

In the framework of Sasa’s new session of narrations named “The Three Golden Apples”, the fairy-tales are attempted to be depicted in the Athenian urban scenery. Phrases that are taken from Greek folk fairy-tales are triggering the lens of Lykos’ photographers and the fairy-tales are presented beyond our eyes.
