On Monday 13th of May 2013 (20:30), at the Church of the Crucified Jesus of Tavros, Dimos Avdeliodis will present a narration from stand that is based on Georgios Vizyinos’ story “My Mother’s Sin”. Inside the redemptive and mystical atmosphere of the Church, the audience could listen to the words of one of the most talented Greek litterateurs.

The event is an initiative of the Church of the Crucified Jesus of Tavros and Michael Cacoyannis Foundation. The residents of the Municipality of Moschato-Tavros and the residents of the Athenian Centre as well, they are all invited to this spring event in order to listen to Vizyinos’ words.

As Dimos Avdeliodis notes: “The writer seeks for his mother’s mutual understanding and forgiveness. It is about a confession that becomes a public speech, instead of being hermetic and personal. It is a speech that overcomes the simple depiction of ethic and moral codes and becomes an expression of salvation and spiritual harmony”.
