“Praise for the Happy Days of Old People” by Dimitris Talaganis

Under the general title “Praise for the Happy Days of Old People”, the painter and architect Dimitris Talaganis presents an artistic 4-day-bazzar (23rd – 26th of April 2013) regarding Easter, in order to support the residents of the Nursery of Athens.

Some of his previous artworks, silver jewelleries and gadgets are going to be provided at affordable prices. This symbolic action of the artist attempts to alleviate the burden of the ageing during these harsh times.

Dimitris Talaganis is also going to present a grand triptych about the Crucifixion (2.5 m x 3 m). The artwork -that will be exhibited for the first time- was created by various artistic techniques and it was patterned in relief on silver leaves and colours.

The whole project is going to travel in other Greek cities too.
