“Little Fairytales”
This Exhibition is an example of an artist adventure into a childhood dream characterized by a variety of different size, paintings with the title «Little Fairytales». The main body of work of the exhibition “Little Fairytales”, (is in oils on canvas), consists of 20 images.
IGLI JORGO notes about his work that: “The inspiration begins the journey of an artistic interpretation with all my belongings… Seeking a twig to rest on and touch feet on the earth, to be born. React … I leave the thinking to spill outside the boundaries and create margins … Through an explosion rises the rose … and the detail that makes the difference. I become small … to nest in a carnation’s leaf and grow, creating the contact. Around the axis of her music I am reborn on a cloud, one piece of canvas on a frame. So different yet so similar…. Escaping the black frame of everyday’s life and I walk around you, over the rooftops to the high cloud that empties your thoughts in earthy breezes. The paper boat…. and the journey of inspiration starts again from the beginning… “Little Fairytales” and colors...”
Igli Jorgo surprises us by reminding our emotions with a fresh view of a lost dream somewhere in our dark clouted minds labyrinth; this is a collection of fresh paintings (as he states) that carries his signature as a well established artist living by his craft in Greece for over two decades. Igli’s new artwork is up lifting once viewed as what life is really all about even in a time of economic suppression. Igli is reminding us of our first Platonic love as we leaped into an adventure that made things so wonderful full of love and excitement. We could fly like Peter Pan the Boy Who Wouldn’t Grow Up or shine like Wendy Darling as J. M. Barrie’s most famous 1904 play work, respectively. But Igli versions tells the story of True Love is his «Little Fairytales», a mischievous young couple at heart that can fly free from social pressure, their adventures on a wheeled boat island castle is his version of an Aegean Neverland an Artistic vision he holds keen to his thoughts and heart.
