Chorotheatro Omada Pende (Cyprus) will be travelling to Athens with two performances at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation.

Friday the 30th of November and Saturday 1st of December at 20:30 p.m.

Two of the most important moments for the dance company during the first decade of its existence regarding the two choreographers-founders cooperation.

Both projects will be presented on both days, with a break of 10 minutes between the first and second dance piece.

The dance piece was presented for the first time at the Cyprus Dance Platform 2004.
A duet made of up two solos, which the two choreographers have created for one another. Personal moments of two women who act and react… commenting on social standards.

This work was presented at the Cyprus Dance Platform 2006, and FITA Festival in London in 2009.

CHOROTHEATRO OMADA PENDE

Chorotheatro Omada Pende was founded in 1999. The dance company has created 23 works since then, regularly taking part in the Cyprus Dance Platform, the Summer Site Specific Dance Festival in Limassol, the European Dance Festival and independent productions. Works by both choreographers have been presented in London (2009), Paris (2008, 2009) and Athens (2011).
Chorotheatro Omada Pende is one of the founding members of Dance House Lemesos (2007) and The New Movement for Dance Groups, Dancers and Choreographers Cyprus (2004). Key members of the company since its foundation are Roula Kleovoulou and Chloe Melidou.
