Audition for Dancers (Male & Female) by Stefania Mylona for her new choreography entitled Rear-Guards

The choreographer Stefania Mylona invites graduates female and male dancers for cooperation and organizes open audition in September 1st 2012, at 10:30 at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation, for her new choreography – implementation of her PhD thesis – which is going to be presented in October 23rd at MCF.

Stefania Mylona has presented her work in various venues in London. As an I.K.Y. scholar (State Scholarships Foundation) she was awarded a practice-based PhD in dance and performance studies from the University of Surrey and and MA in European Dance Theatre Practice from Laban. Her new performance Rear-Guards will consist of her signature method of practice (Dancing Sculptures) as well as new works.

Dancers of different styles (neoclassical, modern, acrobatics as well dancers willing to experiment) are wanted. Those interested are kindly requested to carry their resume with a photo. Due to the limited financial resources of the choreographer and producer there will be no remuneration. The rehearsals will take place in September and October in Athens.
