The Fairytales in the Suitcases by the puppet theatre team Hocus Pocus
Two strange travelers are captivated in a railway station carrying in their luggage four tales. Their suitcases open up and the tales come alive. The travelers are dressed up and enter into the world of fairytales, the spectators participate and everything ends with a strange rainfall.
HOCUS POCUS
The puppet theatre team Hocus Pocus was established in January 1997 as a voluntary team of the Christian Youth Society of Thessaloniki. In 2002, due to increased obligations created by the wide encounter with the audience as well as cultural institutions the team evolved to a Non Profit Company having its own puppet construction workshop. Recently the team Hocus Pocus is hosted at the venue of ARGO Alternative Therapeutic Program developing close cooperation with the Programs Black Theatre Team.
Hocus Pocus have appeared in festive events of various cultural institutions, performed at schools of Thessaloniki and other areas, participated in international and local cultural festivals and puppet theater meetings.
Aim of its members is to share some of the puppet theatres, black theatres and fairytales magic with children of all ages.
