Performed by an international cast, The moment you stood still… is a funny, dramatic and at times uncomfortably sensual performance installation. It is mainly driven by ones desire to communicate. The cast has developed this work with not words exchanged through out their process.

Born in Athens Greece, Yannis Adoniou a Goldie award winner dancer, began his career at the State School of Dance in Athens and later moved to Germany to study at the Hamburg Ballet. He worked with American master, Alonzo King and his LINES Ballet in San Francisco before founded the critically acclaimed dance company, KUNST-STOFF with long time collaborator Tomi Paasonen to explore the intersection of multiple art forms and aesthetics, employing dance as the central medium. With KUNST-STOFF dance company, his works have toured throughout the USA and internationally with critical acclaim.

Since 2010 he runs the performing and visual arts space KUNST-STOFF arts, located in down town San Francisco, California USA, where he teaches, curates and creates works for KUNST-STOFF dance company.
