“Forever Beasts” & live concert

In the ceaseless game of desire and fear, everything starts and ends with the same game… Constraint, the quest for space, Assertion, Collision and Enforcement set a game of acts which either leads to a deadlock of perpetuation of the same acts or to an end.
The music, organically woven into the performance, is live on stage, performed by a violin and a voice and, though inspired from traditional motifs and melodies, is minimally composed with the use of electronic effects.

Ditto Dance Company researches, designs and realizes dance-theater productions by focusing on the synergy and the co-existence of varied art forms (dance, the visual arts, music, and theater) on stage. The company has participated in the 9th Dance Platform of the Association of Greek Choreographers (www.choreographers.gr). Also, Ditto took part in the platform Med I Krv 3 2010 in Novi Sad, Serbia upon invitation, and was chosen to represent Greece at the 4th  Edition of “Festival La Becquée 2010” in Brest, France, with the production “Forever Beasts”.

Ditto Dance Company and the music scheme EleKtroBalKana cooperate on Thursday, November 4th to present a dance performance and a music live show at the Theater Hall of Michael Cacoyannis Foundation.

EleKtroBalKana, a pool of musicians in the mood for playing electro-acoustic tempos and songs from the East and West, creates original themes over old and traditional rhythms resulting in sounds that someone would listen at a traditional feast or at a electro party.
