In collaboration with the Municipal and Regional Theatre of Patras

Stavros Gasparatos, in collaboration with the Cultural Affairs Department of the Municipality of Patras and the Municipal and Regional Theatre of Patras, presents a concert in two parts. In the first part, material from his solo release album “Rehearsals’ (a selection of music pieces for theater and dance) will be presented live, and the second part will be consisted of a series of new unreleased tracks, composed by Stavros Gasparatos, that are going to be presented for the first time in this concert.

This concert is entitled as “Music for the stage” and the music material that is going to be performed derives its origin from themes that have been composed over the past three years for a series of theatrical plays as well as films and dance performances. All those music themes have been orchestrated afresh particularly for this concert.

Stavros Gasparatos along with his fellow musicians makes an attempt to build lively the entire music material, using conventional stringed along with percussion and key instruments, as well as with real time recording and looping techniques, which interact with the visual background.
