It marks the first cinematic cooperation between a Greek Cypriot, Panikkos Chrysanthou, and a Turkish Cypriot, Niyazi Kizilyurek, to depict the history of their island’s tragedy through personal stories of people who suffered during and after the war that followed the 1974 Turkish invasion.
