Beyond Our Wildest Imagination – The Art of Production Design
Production Designers Gathering, in collaboration with ADCG and the Hellenic Film & Audiovisual Center – Creative Greece (EKΚΟΜΕΔ), presents a special discussion dedicated to the art and creative process of production design in film and television, with the kind support of Oxbelly and the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation.
“Beyond Our Wildest Imagination – The Art of Production Design” brings together four internationally acclaimed production designers whose work has helped shape some of the most memorable worlds on screen: Rick Carter (Star Wars: The Force Awakens), Tamara Deverell (Frankenstein), Uli Hanisch (Babylon Berlin), and Anne Seibel (Emily in Paris).
Moderated by production designer Inbal Weinberg (The Lost Daughter), the discussion will explore how production designers transform ideas, scripts and creative visions into compelling visual worlds, working across architecture, design, history, storytelling and imagination.
