Athens, Greece — October 2026
Art Number 23 continues its programme of international contemporary art exhibitions in Athens with a new group exhibition at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation, bringing together artists from different countries and artistic backgrounds for a collective presentation of contemporary
visual art.
The exhibition will open on 9 October 2026, with an opening event from 6:00pm to 10:00pm, and will remain open to the public from 10 to 22 October, daily from 6:00pm to 10:00pm.
Admission is free throughout the exhibition.
The exhibition presents a broad range of artistic practices, including painting, photography, sculpture, video art and other contemporary visual media. Rather than imposing a single theme or aesthetic direction, the Art Number 23 Open Art programme brings together different
approaches, techniques and perspectives, allowing the diversity of contemporary artistic production to become the central point of the exhibition.
Artists participating in the programme come from different countries and cultural backgrounds, creating an international environment in which contrasting visual languages can exist alongside one another. Emerging artists, independent practitioners, self-taught artists and artists with
academic or professional backgrounds are all represented within Art Number 23’s wider exhibition programme.
