72 Hours Asteropis Lazaridou – George Chatzipavlou directed by Giannis Sarakatsanis

Manos and Mania: two young people, at the critical age of 38, go out on a date. Both of them are jaded by all their previous failed relationships and their equally failed blind dates and so they come together in their loneliness only to be faced by a huge dilemma: will they be able to jump in the deep end or will they forever be splashing about in the kiddies pool, like adults in a prolonged adolescence.
They have 72 hours to decide what to do…..
A few words about the performance
Love in the age of Facebook. The people who find it hard to connect because they are used to doing everything on their own, like superheroes who don’t need anyone at all. The women who lie about their weight and the men who lie about their size. The exes who stalk the nextses. The “I love yous” that are said so easily and the “I’m dumping yous” that are said even more easily… And all of this through the story of a man and a women who happened to have the same name and birthday.
After 25 sold out performances, 1.262 tickets sold and an abundance of laughter, “72 hours” is back at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation, from Friday 11th of November 2016 and every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, until the 29th of January 2017.
