On Sunday the 24th of July 2016, at 21:00, the Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus, the Federation of Cypriot Organizations in Greece, the Union of Cypriots in Greece, the Cypriot Provincial  Associations of Attica and the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation are co-organising a concert for the anniversary of 1974, entitled Memories fade, years pass, at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation. A greeting will be delivered by the Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr. Kyriakos Kenevezos.

 

Singing: Vasilis Lekkas, Costas Chatzichristodoulou, Doros Dimosthenous and Iro Saia. Participating:  Mihalis Violaris, Iakinthi Lagiou and the Young Choral Ensemble “Empneusis” under the direction of Elena Kantari.

Recitation:  Marina Argiridou

Orchestra: Dinos Chatziiordanou (accordion), Ria Anastasiou (cello), Vasilis Chatziloukas (guitar), Nikos Politis ( double bass), Vasilis Papadopoulos (bouzouki) and Vasos Argyridis (piano, orchestration).

Songs by the following artists will be heard:  Mikis Theodorakis, Marios Tokas, Dimitris Lagios, Manos Chatzidakis, Stavros Xarchakos, Vasos Argyridis, Michalis Chirstodoulidis, Dionysis Savvopoulos, Mimis Plessas, Giorgos Andreou.
