They work behind the cameras. Unseen they contribute to the final product enjoyed by the audience on screen. Who actually thinks about their contribution? Prokopis Dafnos is an accomplished, experienced, and award-winning cinematographer with more than 35 years experience in cinema and television. Since 1989 he has been creating documentaries about the techniques of old Greek cinema, thus capturing this important period for the seventh art in this country. Through his camera and from the many and diverse interviews and documentations he has captured, he safeguards the history of Greek cinema and makes available for the public stories of people who loved and supported Greek cinema.
