Bijoux de Kant present the third theatrical work by the poet Glykeria Basdeki “Ax!” based on Constantinos Chrystomanos’ “The Wax Doll”. 

The Wax Doll, the simple and sad tale by Constantinos Chrystomanos has been chosen by bijoux de Kant to be presented in a new light. Yiannis Skourletis (direction) and Glykeria Basdeki (dramaturgy) in this, their third collaboration, interact with Chrystomanos’ sharp aestheticism in a new and morbid physical narration which remains true to the character of the original.

The living and the dead succumb to ultimate destruction as they bloom in vain and reverse eternal truths. In “Ax!” bijoux de kant’s romantic prose returns to its familiar symbols which acquire a new nature, disrupting their apparent calm.
