Open Event for the European Anti-Trafficking Day

The Office of the National Rapporteur for Combatting Human Trafficking, with the support of the Office of the European Parliament and the European Commission Representation in Greece, and the International Organization for Migration (IOM), is honoring European Anti-Trafficking Day and organizing an open event, which is being hosted by the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation (206 Piraeus St.), on Thursday, 16 October, from 19:30 to 21:30.
The programme for the event includes a theatrical performance by Omada Oneiro (Dream Troupe), based on real testimonials of women victims of human trafficking, a debate on “Best practices for prevention and protection of human trafficking victims” , by the debate team of the Debating Society of Greece, a photography exhibition, and awareness-raising visual and audiovisual materials created by organizations active in the fight against human trafficking.
