The projector is rolling. The film reels have been loaded with songs from the international cinema that have charted a course of their own. The screening will be starting at the Theatre Hall of Michael Cacoyannis Foundation on Monday, May 12th 2014.

On the occasion of her newly released album, Korina Legaki, with her excellent collaborators, – the multi instrumentalist and composer Giorgos Katsanos, the bass guitar player Giorgos Bouldis and the drum player Giannis Notaras – are presenting the visualized concert Kymatographos, designed by Nefeli Sotiraki and produced by Showkeeper.

A journey with songs from the international cinema from 1947 to 2007 through the lens of experimentation. Compositions of Eden Ahbez, Luiz Bonfa, Astor Piazzolla, Nicola Piovani, Zbigniew Preisner, Michael Nyman etc.

Inspired re-recordings take us on a frame by frame journey, conjuring up images in 35 millimeters. This concert is also a flashback tribute on the singer’s discography with terminal station the country of Greece. Greece of yesterday, today and tomorrow through the eyes of great Greek composers, as the words of Sappho, Odysseus Elytis, Nikos Gatsos, Mihalis Ganas through a different directing-sonic approach, complement the scenario.
