3rd Photography Exhibition of Southern Athens – “Crisis Landscape”
The foyer of the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation in Tavros, is the second stop for the moving 3rd Photography Exhibition of Southern Athens organized by the Regional Division of Southern Athens entitled “Crisis Landscape”, from the 1st to the 17th of March 2014.
Official Opening: Tuesday 4 March 2014, at 19:00
Following the success of the last years 2nd Exhibition at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation the welcoming space of the foundations ground floor will house the exhibition for 10 days.
The crisis and its consequences on our vision as well as our daily life was the subject of the 3rd Photography Competition of Southern Athens, which was completed in December 2013. The works exhibited are those awarded at the competition.
The judging committee consisting of acknowledged photographers: Kostis Antoniadis, Yannis Kolesidis, Nikos Pilos, and the associate professor of Visual Culture at the Panteion University, Yannis Skarpelos, decided on 30 artworks by 25 photographers in Southern Athens.
