PIANO PLUS FESTIVAL IS CELEBRATING 5 YEARS OF CULTURAL OFFERING

On Friday, June 21st, we all celebrate the five years of continuous cultural offering by Piano Plus Festival at the Theater of Michael Cacoyannis Foundation, at 7:30 in the evening in a unique musical marathon featuring numerous classical music artists, choir and orchestra ensembles, and students from the Department of Music of Ionian University.

Artists and ensembles participating: Eftichis Bletsas (Chef, writer, producer), Helen Voudouraki (Mezzo Soprano), Nikos Tsalikis (piano), Evita Maniatopoulou (piano), Alexis Pogrevnohis (clarinet), Fotis Matzakidis (piano), Christos Sakelaridis (piano), Beata Mintsetits (piano), Vocal Inventions (vocal ensemble), and the “Spring” youth orchestra and choir.

Five years now, the audience and friends of music, have supported every artistic activity of the festival. Through Piano Plus Festival we have managed to offer to you, to people who love music, and hundreds of students, unique musical experiences full of power, passion, elegance, youth and above all, quality.

The educational vision of this festival, covers a huge variety of activities starting from concerts, master classes, seminars and lectures to elementary, middle and high school students, conservatories and universities, development of an artistic network to support young musicians, and of course the research and promotion of music through concerts under this international event.

This year, we felt that the time has come for a big celebration, which will end a first very crucial chapter in the live of a festival, full of concerts and educational productions, and at the same time will turn the page for a new beginning to a more modern organization, under new cultural venues in Athens and the rest of Greece, featuring more international artists and reaching out to more students from Europe, Asia and the United States.

We invite you to celebrate with us on Friday, June 21st at 7:30 in the evening at the Theater of Michael Cacoyannis Foundation, Peiraios St. 206 in Tavros. This big concert will feature numerous artists and music students from the Department of Music of Ionian University – Corfu, choir and orchestra ensembles, and the popular chef, writer and producer Eftichis Bletsas. This concert will have a 6€ admission that you can pay in the entrance of the Foundation.
