Man is the only being who knows he is alone.”

Nine stories considering people living in a contemporary metropolis. Stressful stories in the middle of the road.
Even the compassion was offered by the road. The common characteristic of these people is that they never give up. When they fall, they stand up. With some difficulty, but in the end they stand up. Because they are all people that were kidnapped by the road.

Roula turned the distance between Parthenon and White Tower into a wrinkle. A souvlaki-seller does not serve kangaroos. A woman breaks up with her fridge for the love of o crow. A prostitute doesn’t pull out the eyes of her clients. A boy smokes cigarettes only with roper grannies. A receptionist prepares his luggage for a journey to Andromeda. A woman hates loud marckerels.

A girl watches the trains passing by her and another girl moves away from the moon for 20cm. People that were kidnapped by the road… just like the boy in a sunny island during midday. Enke Fezollari, the director, characterizes these eleven stories of Sakis Serefas as “slices of life”. Stories of people who went crazy out of loneliness, but who, despite the difficulties of life, not only they give up, they stand up and go on.
