“The Conceited Lord and the Golden Nutshells” by the Puppet-Theatre Team “Kokou-Mouklo”
by the Puppet-Theatre Team Kokou-Mouklo
Once upon a time there was a conceited Lord who wanted to become a king and own the “Great Crown”, but he had no special characteristics or charismas.
He was always in a bad mood and he was treating his people badly. His mean character was monumental and every time he was visiting the village, he was always asking for gifts from his devastated citizens.
His palace’s warehouse was stuffed with goods and treasures, goods that were taken from his poor people
Only the magic walnut-tree and the golden nutshells could turn him into King!
However, a little girl makes him change his plans and by the end of the story, the Queen teaches him a good lesson, instead of giving him the “Great Crown”
A performance that combines puppet-theatre with play for children.
