“Ploys of Love” with Despina Olympiou and the composer Admitos Pitsilidis

The concert with the title “Ploys of Love” is based on traditional music with covers of traditional Cypriot songs from the composer Admito Pitsilidi, performed by Despina Olympiou. The concert will take place at the Theatre of Michael Cacoyannis Foundation on 14th of November 2012, at 21.00.

The anthology “Ploys of Love” is composed of little love stories, as recounted through the musical tradition of Cyprus, from the old folk songs to nowadays. The remixes of Cypriot tune create a fusion of classical, traditional and contemporary sound.

The concert is supported by the Cultural Services of the Cypriot Ministry of Education and Culture.
