In a secret way
At the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation, on Saturday, February 18th, at 21:00, images, lyrics and music come together “In a secret way”, in order to offer breathing space into the light of the arts as well as create an erotic ark.
The new, erotic songs by Tatiana Zografou set lyrics of contemporary Greek poets into music and encounter the painting by Christos Kechagioglou on stage, for a night devoted to love. Kaleidoscope Publications organize a music performance where notes come alive into imaginary worlds and the visual arts creations shape emotions. The concert includes songs by Mikis Theodorakis, Giorgos Kouroupos, Nikos Kipourgos, H. Purcell, Manolis Chiotis and Manos Chatzidakis as well.
The visual arts supervision of the event belongs to the painter Christos Kechagioglou while the orchestration takes place by Kostas Vomvolos.
Singers performing: Tasos Apostolou, Kostas Vomvolos, Irene Derempei, Tatiana Zografou, Daphne Panourgia, Sofia Papazoglou.
Musicians performing: Kostas Vomvolos (accordion, canonaki), Vagelis Zografos (contrabass), Panos Kanellopoulos (mandolin), Dimitris Mpouzanis (piano), Michalis Porfyris (violoncello), Thodoris Rellos (soprano saxophone), Nikos Souliotis (bendir).
Taking into account that arts can work as an antidote to crisis, the Kaleidoscope Publications maintained low ticket price (€10) while they took care to offer at a special price for the particular night the brand new album by Tatiana Zografou entitled “In a secret way”, released in an imaginative musical and visual edition, with artworks by Christos Kechagioglou.
