SOUL… a journey through the music, image and humans

The soprano Vivianna Giannakis and the composer Tejo Bolten (Mecano) created a show, a journey through time and space, present and past.

Based on an idea of Vivianna Giannakis with the artistic direction of Tejo Bolten, the show “SOUL”, is a journey through the music, image and humans.

Tuned to the path of a cosmic journey, we will hear the sounds of traditional Greek, Cypriot and Celtic music. Timeless musical compositions by Manos Hadjidakis, Yiannis Papaioannou, Vassilis Tsitsanis, Giannidis Costas and Dimitri Tiomkin, along with contemporary compositions of Tejo Bolten, Alkinoos Ioannidis, Nikos Zoudiaris, Lena Platonos, Dionysis Savvopoulos and Radiohead.

Songs about love and life with the enchanting voice of Vivianna Giannakis who interprets a capella, using piano and other instruments (guitar, percussion) or electronic sounds. All this, join together and create a beautiful scene full of images and sounds.

Guests artists and co-travelers on the scene will be Alkinoos Ioannidis, spreading his love and light, and the great saxophonist and magic musical voyager Dimitri Vassilakis.

Through melody, voice and image, the spectator will roam the universe of beauty, to fly to a different reality where memories, senses and wonderful experiences obtained by the Human Soul, are returning to be tasted by it.
