The Last Dance is a strong theatrical play written by Tania Xarokopou, with amazing performances by Giannis Aivazis and Maria Korinthiou, directed by Reina Eskenazi, the acclaimed director, renowned for her versatility and compelling performances.
The play is held and premieres on November 1st at the stage of Michael Cacoyannis Foundation.
The story
Their marriage concealed their true love. Mutual compromises made their coexistence easier, full of love, respect and patience.
Ten years later, they have managed to maintain their deep love and compassion. Thus, there is something that might destroy their harmonious co-existence and make them reconsider their relationship.
An upsetting incident turns their lives upside down.
Are there discouraging refutations in love? Does every day routine have devastating effects and bring boredom? Is human selfishness and neglected needs responsible for the loss of love?
Being lost in agony and grief they are seeking for truth. A truth that is deeply hidden in their hearts and changes everything dramatically…
