APOSTOL
SOLO EXHIBITION
“from ashes to inspiration”
MICHAEL CACOYANNIS FOUNDATION
Opening: 6 December / 6 p.m.
Duration: 6 December 2023 – 7 January 2024
The well-known Greek sculptor APOSTOL presents his solo exhibition,
‘from ashes to inspiration’, at the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation.
APOSTOL returns for a second time to the Michael Cacoyannis Foundation, this time in a revelation of 40 years of creations from within his soul.
APOSTOL draws his inspiration from the sea, nature and music. For APOSTOL, art is “feelings, emotions, symbols”.
His immense love for nature, the sea and music
reflects in his sculptures the same magical simplicity, at the same time emitting a
hymn to the joy of life.
The materials he uses are natural materials from the bowels of the earth, natural materials causing no harm to the planet and with unique healing properties known from the days of the ancient Greeks,
“Ever since I was a little boy I wanted to fly high and spread my wings without limits”.
“Free your spirit, spread your wings and let your dreams fly high”
