Cavafy in Athens in the year of 2013!
More
than a hundred and twenty years following his first journey during the
summer of 1901, the poet visits afresh the Greek capital for three days,
on December 13th, 14th and 15th, at Michael Cacoyannis Foundation.
The
host of the great Alexandrian in Athens is the European Cultural
Centre of Delphi. During the three-day festival c.p.cavafy@days_of_2013
renowned artists as well as artists of the younger generation approach
Cavafys poetry through the performing and the visual arts, cinema and

that was organized by the European Cultural Centre of Delphi,
co-financed by Greece and the European Union, Attica Regional
Operational Programme, NSRF 2007-2013
All the events take place with free entrance
Tickets for the concert by Thanos Mikroutsikos are available at the Foundation’s Box Office (Piraeus 206, Tavros) Mon-Fri 11:00 – 14:00 as well as one hour before the performance. Ticket pre-sale also at PUBLIC Stores: Syntagma Square, Piraeus, Glyfada, Ag. Dimitrios Metro Mall, Athens Mall Maroussi. Entrance fee: 12,00 / 7,00 (Students, Persons under 26 years old / over 65 years old, Holders of Unemployment Card, Disabled People).
