The Patmos Trust (EPAP) was founded in 1968 by Mrs Euthalia Konstantinides. Its aims were to safeguard and to promote the islands diverse cultural traditions and its important architectural heritage. The aspiration of EPAP and of ELLINIKI ETAIRIA in which it has been incorporated in 2005, is to restore the Stavrakas Mansion in order for it to serve as an environmental centre focused particularly on the island of Patmos and the Aegean in general. Once restored, the Mansion will provide a suitable venue for a variety of working groups, seminars, exhibitions and other activities concerning the environment and cultural heritage.
